Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and one to five years laboratory experience.
• Excellent communication skills
• Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge

Responsibilities:

• Participate as a member of the R&D department; execute projects in timely, diligent, safe, and professional manner, and contribute to the growth of the team and department
• Stability/compatibility studies
• Summarize test results
• Document work procedures and test results accurately and completely in a laboratory notebook
• Preparation of prototype products and stability samples of creams and lotions
• Responsible for understanding and performing lab tests on prototype, competitive, and upstream products and materials
• Provide competitive product analysis for product development and marketing
• Calibrating and maintaining equipment
• Regulatory review
• Color matching
• Maintaining of standards
• Maintenance of materials and lab
• Raw material and finished goods testing
• May frequent manufacturing environments when necessary
