INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – A new local tanning salon is set to open for business this month, with a grand opening scheduled for April 25.

Beach Bums Tanning is located in Sunnyside Village Shoppes at 10830 Pendleton Pike, in Indianapolis, and co-owner Judy Britt is excited to see what the future holds.

“Our grand opening on April 25 is right around the corner,” said Britt, who owns the salon with husband Anthony. “We have some great specials that we hope will bring a flurry of customers through the door to get a feel for all we have to offer.”

During the grand opening from 8 a.m. - 9 p.m., the salon will offer one free tan, all tanning bed packages at half-price and if an individual signs up for a “Bum Club Membership,” the enrollment fee will be waived — plus that person will receive a special gift.

“This salon was an idea we had tucked away in our heads for a few years, but we realized the time was now to bring that idea to fruition,” Britt said.
