NEW PORT RICHEY, Fla. – Tanning customers can experience a Caribbean atmosphere when they visit a new local tanning salon that is now open for business and planning a grand opening celebration in November. 

Caribbean Tan, located in the Shoppes of 54 Plaza at 7651 S.R. 54 in New Port Richey, carries a full line of tanning beds manufactured by ETS Tan, including the Sunvision 28 LE, Solaris 442, SolarForce 652V and StarPower 548. These beds are powered by Wolff® system lamps and offer advanced after-tan cooling systems.

 “As a frequent tanner, I have always been very happy with ETS tanning equipment and have received great results,” said Dianna Castillo, who owns the salon with her husband James. “We wanted to start a business that offered really good beds and a quality tan to our customers. This is our first business and if we’re going to do this, we’re going to do it right.” 

Already familiar with tanning beds and what she was looking for, Castillo chose to work with ETS Tan. “The ETS regional sales manager has been guiding us from the beginning,” she said. “ETS Tan offers excellent customer service and high-quality beds. My customers have been really happy with the results – you definitely get what you pay for.” 

The salon is operated using software designed by Helios LLC, a sister company to ETS Tan that is a leader in providing tanning salon management and customer data software, and carries skin products and lotions by Australian Gold and Swedish Beauty, also sister companies of ETS Tan. 

Each tanning room at Caribbean Tan is decorated with a different island theme and the salon also provides reggae, calypso and soca music to add to the Caribbean atmosphere.

 “We are really happy to be in this area, which is growing every day,” Castillo said. “We enjoy seeing each customer come in, especially if they are returning, and couldn’t have asked for a better establishment.”
