Lectric Beach Tanning Club started off as a small business in 1987 and now has four separate tanning locations in the Milwaukee area; 2955 S. Chicago Road in South Milwaukee, 7229 S. 76^th St. in Franklin, 3608 S. Moorland Road in New Berlin and 1619 N. Farwell Ave. in Milwaukee. 

Lectric Beach Tanning Club is offering a super sale - 7 days/$7 - through Sept. 16, during which clients can purchase any tanning package or lotion and get a second for $7. There are streamers, balloons and flower arrangements at all four tanning locations. Clients can also see special displays with notable events and significant milestones for Lectric Beach over the past two decades. 

“We are proud and excited to have reached this point,” said owner Dion Borkowicz. “We began as a small business and have grown into the largest tanning salon chain in the metropolitan Milwaukee area. I have enjoyed the first 20 years and am looking forward to the next 20.”

Lectric Beach features the SolarForce 648, SunStar 332, SunDome 548V and the Sunvision Elite tanning beds manufactured by ETS Tan, based in Indianapolis. 

Borkowicz said he chose to offer only ETS Tan tanning beds to his customers because of the quality and performance of ETS beds and the professionalism of ETS’ customer service department. “As salon operators we love how the beds are designed. They are a pleasure to clean and maintain,” he said.  

The salon is operated using software designed by Helios LLC, a sister company to ETS Tan that is a leader in providing tanning salon management and customer data software, and carries skin products and lotions by Australian Gold and Swedish Beauty, also sister companies of ETS Tan. 

Lectric Beach Tanning Club offers the Magic Tan® spray tanning booths at three of its four locations and carries UV-free skincare products. The salons also have a uniform décor and convenient tanning hours for customers. 

The salons are open from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
