SOUTH JORDAN, Utah – A local tanning salon is open for business and still offering a buy one get one free deal to new customers. 

Expressions Tanning Salon is located at 10623 S. Redwood Road in South Jordan and co-owner Kalyn Wissler says it carries a full line of tanning beds manufactured by ETS Tan, including the SS755, StarPower 548, Solaris 542, SunStar 432 and Sunvision Elite. These beds are powered by Wolff® system lamps and offer advanced after-tan cooling systems. The salon also provides radios with iPod docks in each room for customers. 

“I have wanted to do this for a long time,” said Wissler, who along with friend and co-owner Spence Smith wanted to create a high-quality tanning experience for the community. “I wanted a first-class salon that people of all ages could enjoy and I feel we have done that.” 

After almost a year of research into different tanning beds, Wissler and Smith decided on ETS Tan. “ETS Tan had the best beds for our money,” she said. “We love the customer service and dependability and we’ve had a great response from our customers and employees. The beds heat up very quickly and you come out with a great tan.” 

The salon is operated using software designed by Helios LLC, a sister company to ETS Tan that is a leader in providing tanning salon management and customer data software, and carries a variety of tanning lotions. 

Expressions Tanning Salon also offers customers a friendly and knowledgeable staff along with convenient tanning hours. It is open 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday.
